AI in EI ("the App") is a clinical reference and decision-support tool designed for licensed Early Intervention clinicians. The content in this App is intended to supplement — not substitute for — professional clinical knowledge, judgment, training, and supervision.
The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations for individual patients. All clinical decisions regarding assessment, intervention planning, and service delivery remain the sole responsibility of the licensed clinician and their supervising team.
Developmental milestones, activity suggestions, and clinical decision trees presented in the App reflect general developmental patterns and are not diagnostic criteria. Individual children develop along varied timelines, and clinical presentation must always be interpreted within the context of the whole child, family, and environment.
DPH compliance checklists included in the App are based on the Massachusetts Department of Public Health Early Intervention Operational Standards (December 2022 edition). While every effort has been made to ensure accuracy, regulations and standards are subject to change. Clinicians are responsible for verifying current requirements with their program and the Massachusetts DPH.
The App is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or approved by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services, or any state or federal agency.
The content in the App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The developer makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any information contained in the App for any particular clinical situation.
In no event shall the developer be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to damages resulting from clinical decisions made using information from the App.
By using the App, you acknowledge that you are a qualified professional capable of exercising independent clinical judgment and that you assume full responsibility for all clinical decisions made in the course of your practice.
Users of the App are expected to be licensed or credentialed professionals working within their scope of practice. Nothing in the App should be interpreted as expanding a clinician's scope of practice beyond what is authorized by their professional license and state regulations.
Clinicians should always defer to their professional training, clinical supervisors, program policies, and current evidence-based practice guidelines when making clinical decisions.
All content in the App, including text, clinical frameworks, activity descriptions, and organizational structures, is the original work of the developer and is protected by copyright. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of the App's content is prohibited.
